Oldfield Smith are pleased to launch to market, Phase 1, Tewitts Farm, Palehouse Common.

This is a newly built, standalone warehouse located just outside Uckfield. It has a steel portal frame, insulated composite cladding, a dual-pitch roof with around 15% rooflights, and four insulated roller shutter doors for easy access.

Power is connected, with a range of supply options in place. New internal and external LED lighting is installed. Space is available at the rear for WCs, which can be fitted to suit the tenant’s requirements.

The building sits on its own secure plot and has a widened, dedicated access road.

The decision notice under ref WD/2022/0012/F states the following:

Notwithstanding the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987) (as amended) or in any provision equivalent to that class in any statutory instrument revoking and re-enacting that order with or without modification, the building hereby permitted shall only be used for storage of agricultural machinery and machinery, supplies and materials associated with agriculture or a rural business, and the maintenance and servicing of equipment in connection with this along with any ancillary functions including office accommodation or welfare and for no other purposes.

This development forms part of phase 1, with 2 more phases (STNC), expected. More information on this, available upon request.
